Frequently Asked Questions
What is your minimum order?
Our minimum order quantity is determined by how many colors will be in the print. Since each color adds a screen and more production time, we require higher order minimums for more colors to help offset our increased production costs. Since we don’t charge set up fees we need to ensure that we aren’t spending more time setting up a job than we are actually printing it.
Can you use my screens if I provide them?
We take great pride in our clean work flow and maintenance of all of our equipment, including our screens. A good quality screen with proper tension and stencil are the key to getting a quality print. So for that reason, we don’t use client screens since we cannot verify the quality of the screens beforehand and cannot take responsibility for any damage to the screen or poor print quality that would result from using provided screens. *Follow up question, we can make new screens or burn new images into your screens for you if you plan on printing at home. This is another service we provide. Contact us for pricing!
How long will it take to print my shirts?
Our standard turnaround time is 10 business days from the point of final approval and a 50% deposit. In some instances we can rush your order for you for an additional fee. That fee can vary depending on how quickly they are needed.
What other services do you provide?
Our main services are listed on our homepage. If you have any specific questions about a project please feel free to reach out to us. We have a pretty wide range of products that we offer and we’re always happy to try and help however we can!
How much will my shirts cost?
There are many variables that factor into pricing out a job. Since we offer a range of blank garments, print styles, and quantity price breaks, we prefer to quote out each job individually. Companies that list their pricing online usually default to using 1 or 2 styles of shirts and typically they are low cost, low quality garments. We have higher standards here and do not print on low quality shirts that are manufactured without strict ethical guidelines. Learn why. There is a standard rate we use to calculate cost depending on number of colors in your artwork. Please reach out to us and we’d be happy to send you some pricing information!
Can I order just 1 shirt?
We can refer you to one of our partners to handle a small quantity or a one off shirt. One offs are printed with a different method called direct to garment. It’s digitally printed, not screen printed. The price range is more along the lines of what you’d expect to pay for a retail shirt. What’s the difference between screen printing and DTG? Simply put, DTG is basically an oversized desktop printer designed to print on fabric. It doesn’t require screens or set up, you’re just loading a shirt onto the board and hitting print. The vibrancy, longevity, and crispness of the prints don’t compare to screen printing at all. But not everyone needs 24 of the same shirt, so if that sounds like you, then this might be a good option.
What is Live Screen Printing?
Great question! Live screen printing is a great way to get shirts printed for an event you are hosting without all of the upfront costs of purchasing shirts ahead of time. If you want to offer merchandise at your event, normally you’d have to estimate the attendance and sales to determine how many shirts to get printed and hope that you don’t run out of shirts, or get left with boxes of extras that you didn’t sell.
We handle preparing the designs (up to 4 unique designs) unless you already have a design, then we can use that. We bring a small variety of high quality blank garments that will work well with the designs we are printing. We handle the customer interaction and payments so you don’t have to. And we print the shirts to order, on the spot right in front of your eyes! That means no leftovers!
We’ve printed at many different types of events in the past. Many of them include brewery beer release parties, anniversary events, food competitions, music festivals, outdoor festivals, you name it. Who keeps the money? Typically for first time events we will retain whatever sales we make, so we are just providing the merchandising service for your event so you don’t have to sink costs into coordinating all of it. If we start working together more often we can work out a profit split based on a percentage of net sales. If you’ve got a big event and we sell lots of shirts then you can make some money without even doing anything other than your initial communication with us.
There’s lots of potential in live screen printing! Contact us to see if your event would be a good candidate to have live screen printing.
